[~Anilg] If ATLAS-311's fix is not required for this JIRA, the patches for the two JIRAs should be independent. The reason is if there's a bug here, it would be difficult to understand which JIRA could have caused this. Hence, I request you to create the patch for ATLAS-388 on master and apply it.

Of course, if the fix in ATLAS-311 is *required* for this JIRA to work, then they should be dependent.
