[jira] [Created] (CASSANDRA-16912) Rename
cassandra-topology.properties to cassandra-topology.properties.example
Brandon Williams created CASSANDRA-16912:
--------------------------------------------
Summary: Rename cassandra-topology.properties to cassandra-topology.properties.example
Key: CASSANDRA-16912
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-16912
Project: Cassandra
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Cluster/Gossip
Reporter: Brandon Williams
Far too often people leave this file in place when using GPFS, when it is only intended to be using during migration away from PFS. If we simply rename this file, then the GPFS camp won't trip over it (without going to effort to do so at least) and the PFS camp can simple rename the file before/after editing it.
