Hi All:

About INFRA-3947 Enable Nexus Access For Commons-IO:

Does any one care one way or the other?

I was planning on doing an RC for 2.1 using the process

Well the wheels are turning on the nexus side. I waited 24 hours. It
sounds like I should have called for a vote. Otoh there are already
too many build paths IMO. Ant maven nexus not nexus people at apache.

Yup, know what it is. So theres a way to use it without using the
maven release plugin then? How does that work?

I think Nexus is much better than uploading direct to the repo on
people as that cannot be undone if there is an error.
