[jira] Commented: (GERONIMO-400) Add/remove gbeans to an exisiting configuration
[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-400?page=comments#action_12316807 ]
David Jencks commented on GERONIMO-400:
---------------------------------------
While I originally thought this was a good idea, I now have really strong reservations about it and would prefer more discussion before it is implemented. I think "disabled" gbeans in a configuration are a much better solution to the kind of problems I think this is intended to address.

> It should be possible to add gbeans to and remove gbeans from an existing configuration. Without this feature we end up with lots of little configurations containing a single gbean such as javamail.
