I m stumped
Sent from my iPhone
So I’m not super computer savy but I created a spreadsheet to help my 4 year old grandson log his hot wheels collection.
Questions in I have the A column as the year the E column is the car number and I have been using the sort ascending up in the tool bar to keep them In Order. But now I entered twenty cars we got over the weekend and they won’t sort ? I’m totally lost any help would be greatful
Thankyou johnny

Are you sure the new entries have the same formats in the columns you are sorting?

What is happening when you try?
Can you outline the steps your taking?

Another way to sort, is to use AutoFilter. You can then click the little ▾
symbol above the column you want to sort by, and select Sort ascending or
Sort descending.

Short solution:
You have to select all cells with data.
Click the gray cell left of column A and above row 1.
That will select all data on the sheet.
Now, if all is right, you can sort
