Pipeline

Peter/Eric,
  You probably have the best view of this - but I think we need to put
pipeline data onto rundata. I am trying to use your 2.4RC1 in antelope
and because it is going to take a while to make sure everything uses
pipeline data instead of rundata it would be very useful.
 As an example I converted a large amount of code to use pipeline data
but - one related section goes via a screen which I can't convert
right now. If I could get pipeline data out of run data - I could
leave my existing screen intact and move the surrounding code to
pipeline data now. As it is I have had to roll back all my changes
until I can convert the screen.
 In term of people adopting the pipeline it would make life a lot
easier if rundata.getPipelineData worked!
  Do you agree - (I know previously you didn't) - if so I will knock up a patch.
