All,

We have identified the root cause of the long running requests (that are
at least partially responsible for recent Jira performance issues) as
known Jira bugs that are fixed in the latest release. Therefore Jira
will be upgraded this weekend - probably Sunday.

Notification just before Jira is taken off-line will be posted to
twitter by Infrabot and updates will be provided via the same channel.
It is expected that Jira will be off-line for between 1 and 4 hours.
