[jira] Updated: (DERBY-1541) Make test jdbc4/TestPreparedStatement run under the security manager

Rick Hillegas updated DERBY-1541:
---------------------------------

    Attachment: derby-1541_v01.diff

This file is a piece of cruft which is not used by any test. The live tests were moved into TestPreparedStatementMethods, and that test runs under the SecurityManager. I deleted the cruft file and ran the jdbc40 suite against jar files. The suite passes cleanly in the embedded framework. In the DerbyNetClient framework the suite has the same 3 errors which we see in the mainline. Attaching patch derby-1541_v01.diff. Committed at subversion revision 425765.

> See trunk/java/testing/org/apache/derbyTesting/functionTests/tests/jdbc4/TestPreparedStatement_app.properties which says:
> - test fails trying to read blob content files
> Other tests succesfully read files so it must be possible to enable this test under the security manager.
> Maybe the files need to be marked as support files and copied into the extin/extout/extinout folders
> to use the existing permissions in the test policy files.
