I can't believe this bug is so old. I came here to report it and a search took
me here.
The problem still happens with OpenOffice 3.3.0 on Windows 7 64-bit and the
32-bit version of the JRE 1.7.0_01
It takes several clicks to finally get that annoying dialog to disappear. o I
followed the advice and went to set up a JRE. Unfortunately, adding a JRE fails
since no matter what (sub-)folder I point to under C:\Program Files (x86)\Java,
I get "the folder does not contain a jre environment". Really? I wonder how
come other programs manage to find it.
