[PROPOSAL] Bug tracking catagories -- need more input

To Costin, Craig and other committers of Jakarta:

There is a "default responsible person" for new
reports: I need to know who should (by default) get
notified of new reports. There is a "responible
person" for each catagory of bugs. I need to know who
that should be. Please see the list I posted earlier.

I'm still learning everything about BugRat. (Sorry
it's taking so long :| ) I might ask for more
information before I can go live, please bear with me.

-Nick

+1 if you have local mail aliasing capabilities. That way, you'd be able
to have multiple people get notified if they want to.

Please use aliases ( tomcat-bugs, category-bug, etc ).

If anyone wants to be the default - perfect, but
please don't use my name :-)

As a starting point, you can sign me up (Craig.McClanahan@eng.sun.com) as
the "default" responsible person for Servletapi, Struts, Tomcat
(including Catalina), and Watchdog -- unless someone wants to volunteer
for particular categories of bugs. I would suggest communicating with
the developers on the other developer mailling lists to identify
volunteers for the other projects.
