Xml editor of choice?

Hi guys.

I use oXygen to edit my xml source files, because it kinda does 
node/attribute completion based on the DTD rules.

Before I shell out for a license, what xml editors would you suggest?

I'm running Linux RH8 & vmware'd win xp (boo hiss)

For Wintel machines I usuall suggestand use Cooktop 
http://www.xmlcooktop.com/

It's free.
