[GitHub] [incubator-dubbo] rhwayfun opened issue #2641: When to
support parameter routing?
As the doc shows, it does't support parameter router currently, is there a plan for it?

> For example, the request parameter has a field cityId, which can be configured to allow a request from a specified city to invoke a specific provider.
this requirement may fit by `route rule`, you can refer [here](https://dubbo.incubator.apache.org/zh-cn/docs/user/demos/routing-rule.html). Tag router is designed for carrying request parameter to route to specific provider.
> Also maybe specified host
You can use <dubbo:reference> and set the url like this
```
<dubbo:reference id="xxxService" interface="com.alibaba.xxx.XxxService" url="dubbo://localhost:20890" />
```

@rhwayfun
Invoke directly as @lexburner 's post.
Script Router also can do that you want:
1. write a script to implement a function invoke
2. use invocation to get parameters from your client invoking
3. return the specified invokers

What kind of behavior do you need it about `parameter routing`?
