[jira] Commented: (INFRA-1057) Requesting sudo access on brutus
[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-1057?page=comments#action_12461595 ]
Theo Van Dinter commented on INFRA-1057:
----------------------------------------
Hi Joe,
Would the www-data group allow me access to update the web config and reload httpd on brutus? That's the main thing I need right now, so I can fix some issues with SA's bugzilla install.
I can understand the need to restrict access on the machine, though I didn't think it'd be too much of an issue since I'm involved (albeit loosely) with the infrastructure group, and have commit privs to the infrastructure repo (so I can change configs but can't push them out), and I have full sudo privs on the previous issues machine (ajax).
More full privs would also let me work on things like INFRA-589 which has been languishing in limbo for over a year. :)

> Hi,
> When issues.apache.org was on ajax, I had sudo access to help admin the SpamAssassin Bugzilla instance. It appears that after moving to brutus, I've lost sudo access:
> Sorry, user felicity may not run sudo on brutus.
> :( Can I (re)gain sudo access on brutus?
> Thanks! :)
