Apache Flex sdk 4.10 installation aborted
Hi,
I have Adobe Flash builder 4.7 Standard software.I created a new folder in
sdk folder and named as 4.10.0. I tried to download 4.10 sdk to my sdk
folder (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 (64
Bit)\sdks\4.10.0). But after selecting the installation path and click of
Next, the installation is aborted.
Any one experienced this issue? Can some one help me with the installation..

For Windows:
When Installing the Flex SDK, I was encountering the Aborted Installation
error.
This has to do with UAC priviliges in Windows.
There is no need to install into a different directory or file.
Right Click on the Installer Icon > Install as Administrator from the Drop
down menu.
Thanks for posting. Was ready to lob a half-full glass of coffee at my PC.

Would it be simple to have the installer try to write/create a small
file, and if there is an exception or it doesn't appear when you read it
back, then let the user know ?

Thanks it worked. As said by Mark, downloaded Apache Flex sdk 4.10 in D
drive and then moved all folders inside Flash Builder's sdk folder..
