**Bug description**
Hello,
we updated maven-surefire-plugin from 3.2.5 to 3.5.4. After that the XML have a differnt classname(in testcase) in the report. In the old version was **(Linux)** suffix included. In the new version the suffix is missing. Are there any misconfigurations or is it a new behavior in the new version? Or a bug?

org.apache.maven.plugins, maven-surefire-plugin, v3.2.5

It appears this is a regression introduced in 3.5.4, since 3.5.3 still includes the suffix in the testcase classname.
I can investigate the change between these versions and propose a fix.
Can I proceed?

@elharo @GethDeeo Opened https://github.com/apache/maven-surefire/pull/3379 for this issue.
The fix keeps the change scoped to the XML report name path and preserves `reportNameSuffix` when the testcase classname falls back to the report source text.
I added both focused unit coverage and a Surefire IT that verifies the generated XML includes the suffix in the test suite name and the testcase classname. I also ran the full local checks:
- `mvn clean install`
- `mvn -Prun-its clean install`

Incidentally, upgrading from `3.5.3` to `3.5.4` causes Spock tests' `classname` attribute to change from FQCN to simple class name. Could this be related?
