[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-12289) Migrate svn-qavm2 to LW-EU
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-12289?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15544706#comment-15544706 ]
Martin Edgar Furter Rathod commented on INFRA-12289:
----------------------------------------------------
I modified the config (for testing) and tried to run wayita, works fine.
It can be started manually like this:
( cd /home/wayita/wayita/wc && nohup /home/wayita/wayita/wc/src/main.py ../conf/wayita.conf < /dev/null > /dev/null 2> /dev/null & )
And stopped like this:
( cd /home/wayita/wayita/wc && /home/wayita/wayita/wc/src/wayitactl.py ../conf/wayita.conf quit )
I added support for a PID file and wrote a config for systemd (/home/wayita/wayita/wc/wayita.service on svn-qavm3), but the systemd config is untested.
In the next few minutes I will change the config back to normal. After that I stop wayita on svn-qavm2 and start it manually on svn-qavm3.

> svn-qavm2 needs to be migrated off of Eirene as the host being decommissioned.
> A new VM will be created, access granted and assist Subversion project in migrating over.
> Or, if Subversion no longer need their VM, just turn off the old instance.
