[DISCUSS] Prepare Apache NiFi 1.23.1 Release?

Team,

Following the release of Apache NiFi 1.23.0, several important bugs have
been resolved in a few Processors [1], and there have been a handful of
incremental dependency upgrades [2]. Preparing an incremental patch release
would provide the opportunity to incorporate these bug fixes and pull in a
selected number of dependency upgrades.

I am willing to handle the Release Manager responsibilities. If there is a
positive response to this approach, I can put together a selected list of
issues next week.

Thanks for the responses!

I created a Jira Release for 1.23.1 [1] and tagged a number of issues. I
included the bug fixes and the majority of the dependency upgrades as they
contained patch-level or security-relevant changes.

There are still a couple tagged issues pending review, but I plan to start
the build process soon after these are reviewed and merged.
