[jira] [Created] (KAFKA-3578) Allow cross origin HTTP requests on all HTTP methods

Liquan Pei created KAFKA-3578:
---------------------------------

Summary: Allow cross origin HTTP requests on all HTTP methods
                 Key: KAFKA-3578
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-3578
             Project: Kafka
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: KafkaConnect
    Affects Versions: 0.10.0.0
            Reporter: Liquan Pei
            Assignee: Ewen Cheslack-Postava
            Priority: Blocker
             Fix For: 0.10.0.0

Currently, Kafka Connect only allows requests from the same domain of the Kafka Connect cluster. To allow Kafka Connect to process requests from other domains, we need to allow cross origin HTTP requests.
