HELP: Tomcat 3.2b Test Errors

Hi.  

I am encountering an error when I attempt to test my build of Tomcat 3.2b.  The particulars are as follows:

  Platform: debian gnu/linux 2.2 ppc
  Enviroment Vars defined: JAVA_HOME; XML; TOMCAT_HOME; PATH; and CLASSPATH
  Software: 
    jdk1.2.2 FCS
    jaxp1.0.1
    apache 1.3.9-13.1
    tomcat 3.2beta

  The output:
   <TOMCAT_HOME># bin/tomcat.sh ant -buildfile conf/test-tomcat.xml
   Buildfile: conf/test-tomcat.xml

   BUILD FAILED

   conf/test-tomcat.xml:1: Unexpected attribute "init"

   Total time: 0 seconds

I'd appreciate any help in this matter.
