Currently omid startup script doesn't have any way to check the liveness using pid file generation, log handling like log rolling during the startup, passing custom log directory. Would be better to adopt hbase-env.sh script to get the environment variables like HBASE_PID_DIR, HBASE_LOG_DIR etc..same way like phoenix-queryserver
