Changing parameters of each thread

Dear firends,

I am quite new to JMeter. I have created a thread grouph and set the thread
count to 50. I assume each thread represents a user is the system (Is this
correct?).

I want to set different parameters for each of these threads. For example I
want to load data for USER_ID parameter from a text file.
Each thread's USER_ID Parameter should be different.

Can you please tell me how to do this?

Thanking You,
Chamal.

Each thread represents a user. Not sure what "the system" has to do with it.
