Auto purge?
The couchdb blog linked to this post:
http://eclipsesource.com/blogs/2015/04/20/how-to-finally-delete-documents-in-couchdb/
I commented there but figured this might be a better place.
Why isn't there a setting that will automatically purge deleted documents?
Maybe after a length of time has elapsed and revisions have all been
compacted away? Isn't it impossible to recover the documents at that point
anyway?

Hi Cory,
have your read the section in the docs and it's warning?
http://docs.couchdb.org/en/1.6.1/api/database/misc.html?highlight=purge#post--db-_purge
Cheers
Andy
