Many databases clients (PgAdmin, SQL workbrench, ...) and connection software (Moba, WinSCP...) lets you add the connection parameters and then test the connection before logging-in.

When defying a new connection on Airflow there is no actual log-in and there is no test.

The test can only be done when uploading a dag and debugging it. This is very frustrating.

 

Please add Test button that will test the connection regardless to user adding DAGs.
