[jira] [Created] (HBASE-10120) start-hbase.sh doesn't respect --config in non-distributed mode

Nick Dimiduk created HBASE-10120:
------------------------------------

Summary: start-hbase.sh doesn't respect --config in non-distributed mode
                 Key: HBASE-10120
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-10120
             Project: HBase
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: scripts
            Reporter: Nick Dimiduk
            Assignee: Nick Dimiduk
            Priority: Trivial

A custom value for --config is not passed along to hbase-daemon.sh by start-hbase.sh when invoked in local mode (hbase.cluster.distributed=false). When --config is specified, variables from hbase-env.sh are applied to the runtime, but not hbase-site.xml.
