Unexpected svn diff: Error
Dear All,
Most of the repositories are getting corrupting; please help me how I can
come out from this critical problem.
Recently I have upgraded the SVN server to 1.4.5 subversion and 2.0.59
apache. After this up gradation only this problem has started. But any way
in previous configuration it was plain text but now it is SSL connection.
I am really fed up of this critical issue and day by the problems are
increasing. Even we can not change any configuration also as more than 90
repositories are online.
Error: Unexpected svn diff
Due to this error the particular rev gets corrupt and it wont allow to
commit or checkout any more after that.
If I run "svnadmin verify" it gives the same error. Some times the error
will be "Decompression of svndiff failed" and after this error message even
it possible to dump or load to also.
Some time back we suspect on the version 1.4.5 we upgraded but, I am not
sure. Hence we have not upgraded or reverted to old one.
Also in Google blogs they say something wrong with HARDWARE /RAM. But I
dont think as it was working fine just before upgrading to
SSL/1.4.5/2.0.59 FROM HTTP/1.4.3/2.0.57 SERVER.
Please help us how I would go about it, to resolve the issue at the soonest
possible.
Thanks a lot.
Ashwin Patil.
