[jira] [Commented] (CMIS-591) Contribution of an Objective-C CMIS client

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CMIS-591?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13476513#comment-13476513 ]

Nick Burch commented on CMIS-591:
---------------------------------

We'll likely need to go through a Software Grant process for this, as it's a fair sized new codebase produced by a number of different people. Could you please confirm that all the companies involved are happy to submit a code grant for this? (As I understand it, while SAP and Alfresco have CCLAs on file, not all of the work was done by existing committers so may not be already covered)

We'll also need an existing Chemistry PMC member to do the paperwork for it, hopefully between SAP and Alfresco one can be found who'll be willing to do so ;-)

> I would like to propose the addition of another library to the Chemistry project, an Objective-C CMIS client.
> The current library (https://github.com/Alfresco/Objective-CMIS) implements core services from the AtomPub binding and is usable on iOS and Mac OS X.
> Up to this point the project has been a collaborative effort between Alfresco, SAP and Zia Consulting.
> We now feel the project is at a point where it could be considered for inclusion in the Chemistry project.
