I need remove DOM from Xerces-1_3_1 to extract only SAX from it,
(purpose is to minimize size of Xerces)

You can't do that because the XML Schema implementation 
depends on it. I'd first start by removing the HTML DOM,
WML DOM, and XML serializers (if you don't need them)
because the parser doesn't rely on any of these.

We'll be tackling the layering/packaging issue better
in Xerces2. So if you have ideas in this area, feel free
to start a discussion.
