james-fastfail

hello
I'm Moritz and not a student any more. I studied electronics engineer and
graduated in 2000. Then did some hardware development for 4 years. Now I
would like to learn more about the software part of this world. So I feel
like a student in programming. I don't know if it is possbile for me to
subscribe to a project of 'summer of code'. What do you think?

I would be interested in the project 'james-fastfail'. In this project I
could learn a lot of the protocols. And you wrote that there is a good
background material available. So I could study this first to understand
from what your talking :-)

Thanks for you time and your feedback

Google makes the rules for their participation in the Summer of Code. You
would have to check with them regarding your eligibility.

Regardless of the Summer of Code, we encourage anyone who is interested to
contribute to JAMES. There is a lot that can be done with JAMES, and we are
always interested in growing the developer community.

There is some material in the Wiki, and there is a lot of material in the
mailing list archives. For example, look at threads from February 2004 with
Alex Zhukov, particularly regarding "SMTPACL".
