database connection error
I'm installing Roller on Glassfish and when I launch Roller, appears
the Database Connection Error page
this is an image of the roller-custom.propierties file

this is how I've created the mysql database

and I've verified that the mysql-connector-java-5.1.6-bin.jar file is
into the directories AppServer\lib and AppServer\domains\domain1\lib

well:
the solution I found was to reinstall glassfish without mysql and
install mysql appart, so i can configure mysql independently

I assume you´re using Windows...
Go to the MySQL Server Instance Configuration Wizard (Start | Programs |
MySQL) and reconfigure your MySQL instance. That means you´re going to see
all the instalation options again. There has to be a screen for network
options, and that´s where you can select Enable TCP/IP Networking.

check into your my.cnf file (the configuration file for MySQL), the
following line:
#skip-networking
must be commented, so MySQL can listen to the TCP/IP port.
