[jira] [Commented] (ARROW-2631) [Dart] Begin a Dart language library

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-2631?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16923567#comment-16923567 ]

Ramkumar KB commented on ARROW-2631:
------------------------------------

I am quite excited about the opportunities that a dart lib for Arrow can open up. A Flutter app can read the memory instead of doing JSON serialization and am assuming that this would make the app very performant.

So how does one go about creating such a lib - should I look at the JS folder and navigate around? Any tips or pointers to get started (without getting intimidated!) would be very helpful.

Thank you very much!

> Dart now has FlatBuffers !! Woow.
> So lets put a basic example into Arrow to get the ball rolling
> Suggest a simple Flutter client consuming a dart and golang flatbuffers type / kind.
