Best practice concerning sample

I have written an ant and a maven plugin.  I want to distribute it with a
sample.  I have thus written a sample project buildable from an sample ant
script and from a maven pom.xml.

 

What are the best practice to store it, knowing that I have already multiple
modules (one for the core of the implementation, one for the ant task, one
for the maven plugin en a last one for my site documentation)
