Error removing collection

Note the following executed commands and the output:

[root@hlittle db]# xindiceadmin lc -c /db

        system
        THIRD
        NEWERID
        FIFTH
        FOURTH
        NEWEST

Total collections: 6
[root@hlittle db]# xindiceadmin dc -c /db -n FIFTH
Are you sure you want to delete the collection FIFTH ? (y/n)
y
ERROR : Collection Not Found
[root@hlittle db]#

This may be related:

[root@hlittle db]# xindiceadmin lc -c /db/FIFTH

        FIFTH/UNSTRUCTURED

Total collections: 1

I managed to create collections programmatically using the XML-RPC
interface.  I didn't always do it correctly.  Now, I can't seem to get
rid of some of them.  Apparently those that have a child collection
with a slash in the name will not delete.

Any suggestions?  I would like to clean up my system before
progressing further.
