Resolution: Invalid
The XSD annotations are listed on page 79 and 80 of the SDO spec. There is
no such annotation as sdo:open.
To define an open type in XML Schema you need to have one or more
wildcards in the type. For example:
<complexType name="BaseObject" sdo:open="true">
<sequence>
<element name="name" type="string" nillable="false" />
<element name="owner" type="string" />
<element name="description" type="string" />
<element name="lastModified" type="string" />
<element name="namespace" type="string" />
<element name="version" type="string" />
<any maxOccurs="unbounded" namespace="##any"/>
</sequence>
</complexType>
A type cannot be "open" if there is no place in the schema for the "open
content" to go.
