   `msgBacklog` included in the stats of the topic sometimes remains 1 even though all messages have been consumed.
   
   Normally, the number of messages in the backlog is calculated by the expression `entriesAddedCounter - messagesConsumedCounter`. However, if this result is less than 0, the number of entries is calculated from `markDeletePosition` and `lastConfirmedEntry`. At this time, the value passed to `getNumberOfEntries()` is a closed interval, so the return value of `getNumberOfEntries()` is 1 larger than the actual number of entries.
