Googling suggests that this is obscure humour, not a mistake.

Let me in on the joke?

Max.

In my private universe, "Prolix" is a branch of Unix famous for its
wordy command names, exceedingly long options, and verbose output.
It's not very popular anymore, but those who ran it became very good
typists.

In the real universe, "prolix" is an English adjective meaning wordy
or verbose :-).

I had never considered that someone might do a Google search for
"Prolix IV", and am pleasantly surprised to see that it is a
Googlewhack!
