Method

Hello all,

           I am developing a template to send out Emails using VTL, So, I want to know if there is any method to get the absolute URL when we publish the email?

I want the absolute path for the uploaded images on the VTL template.

$currentItem.getURL()
$currentItem..getURLPath()

wont give absoulte url path when I view the html source.....so any clues on this?

First, try sending this to the users list. You probably have more
chances of getting a reply for this question there.

When you resend it, provide them with the following information:
- How you are using Velocity.
 eg. as a standalone application, a web application using VelocityServlet, etc..
- How you are setting $currentItem.
- How the "send out Emails", "uploaded images" and Velocity are collaborating.
