Andrey Stepachev updated HBASE-9790:
------------------------------------
Description:
'Alter' was issued with wrong (negative) max_file_size. At some moment regionservers begin to split regions producing zero size regions. Table won't to delete, even can't disable it.
Solution: stop cluster, delete table from hdfs, use with care
{{hbase org.apache.hadoop.hbase.util.hbck.OfflineMetaRepair}}
