[jira] Commented: (MRELEASE-246) impossible to prepare after a dryRun

Michael Utech commented on MRELEASE-246:
----------------------------------------

mvn release:clean doesn't help me either. I probably messed up a little.

Tried -DtryRun=true expecting release:prepare not to mess with svn. It did however, so I tried release:rollback. When this did not rollback, I reverted pom.xml to the old revision and now I'm lost.

I like the idea of the release plugin, but for my taste it lacks transparency and consistence (at least considering the user interface). Rollback should roll back whatever "transaction" has not been comitted. A dry run should be easily revertible.
