Summary: Suggestion for calling DosQueryPathInfo()
Product: Apache httpd-1.3
Version: HEAD
Platform: Other
OS/Version: OS/2
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: core
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: mlueck@lueckdatasystems.com
./srclib/apr/file_io/os2/filestat.c
In Googling around for source code showing DosQueryPathInfo() in use,
specificially with the FIL_QUERYFULLNAME option, I found Apache uses this call.
There is one "gotcha" I found with the API and Apache does not have that
situation covered, thus sending the suggestion:
If that which is passed in is driver letter colon only, then the API fails. Ex:
"C:" will puke. It should automatically assume "C:" means "C:." but it does not.
I would suggest a simple test to see if the length of the string is 2, and if
the second char in the string is a colon, if so append on a period. Example follows:
if (strlen(filespec) == 2 && filespec[1] == ':') {
strcat(filespec, ".");
}
