Highlighted is 'Keep ratio' status of sidebar and dialog which are checked off.
Overview:Insert Drawing object/Textbox ,then check on 'Keep ratio' status in
dialog ,'Keep ratio' status is not updated in sidebar ,but when you go back to
dialog 'keep ratio' status is check off.'Keep ratio' status synchronized in
dialog and sidebar(It should not be synchronized).
And when Keep ratio status in sidebar is checked off ,Keep Ratio Status in
dialog is also checked off ,again they synchronized.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) New a document.
2) Insert a drawing object, or a text box.
3) Check on 'Keep ratio' status in dialog.
4) Check on 'Keep ratio' status in sidebar.
5) Check on 'Keep ratio' status in dialog.
6) Check off 'Keep ratio' status in sidebar.
7) Open dialog
Actual Results: Dialog and sidebar 'Keep ratio' status synchronized.
Expected Results:Change 'Keep ratio' status in dialog, status of 'Keep ratio'
in sidebar should not be synchronized.
Build Date & Hardware:
Build: AOO 4.0 Rev. 1489073
OS: windows 7

Sidebar and dialog each remembers its own setting of "keep ratio". I see no
synchronizing.
I'm not sure, whether the sidebar and dialog should be synchronized in 'keep
ratio' or not. In contrast to width, height, x-pos, and y-pos, the setting
'keep ratio' is no property of the object, but a property of the dialog.

Like Regina, I can see no synchronization. That would make this issue
"irreproducible". But I think that it should be synchronized. I see the "Keep
ratio" property more a property of the UI than of the dialog.

right click drawing object - Position and Size... - check Keep ratio - OK
right click drawing object - Position and Size... - Keep ratio is unchecked
(previous check is forgotten)

ALG: I agree with Regina; It would be nice to synchronize, but it is just a
local helper in the dialog to make X-scale dependent on Y-scale. When want to
synchronize the next questions come up
- Remember the state at the model? Load/Safe? ODF?
- Evtl. do this for each object? Make it an object attribute? ODF?
All this is possible, but far out of the current simple usage case of this
helper flag. Keep things simple.
