Publish snapshots?

Do you think it's worth publishing some of the latest log4j-*  
snapshots to the snapshot repo?

Artifacts that are intended or expected to be used outside of the  
development team are supposed to be put up for a vote and formally  
released.  The snapshot repo would seem to primarily benefit the user  
community and they would be better served with releases.
