   yes we are hitting this bug. these bug will only take in effect if you have an solidfire. we opened a bug report at cloudops @syed. i know we can use only VirtIO drives but bug is bug and should be resolved. we should not solve things with a workaround but fix them. let users device what they want to use. any users will use ide, virtio and other virtio, virtio... :)
