Tomcat Default Error Handler

Hi.
I keep getting the following message:

	ERROR: can't find default error handler or error in default error
page

The thing is, that an exception occurs (shutdown due to exception:
java.net.SocketException: No such file or directory) and then
the above message appears, and Tomcat crashes.
The exception occurs randomly on HP-UX, but seems not to occur on Solaris. 
I was wondering, where can I set the default error handler??

I am using version 3.1 of Tomcat and Java 1.2.2.
