html:text with pattern

Hi all,
is there any extension to html:text which accept pattern as in jstl
formatNumber, i.e can handle percentage conversion?
So if the actual property value is 0.45, then the generated html input
tag will display 45 and vice versa?
Or do i have to manually convert the values?
