This one was initially reported by Pae Choi on xerces-j-user. See: 
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=xerces-j-user&m=105268359919679&w=2. The bug is 
in AbstractDOMParser (the standalone value only takes the values 'yes' 
and 'no', not 'true'). I posted a patch on the mailing list, but I'm opening 
this here so it doesn't get lost.
