Subversion and SCM reports

I'm trying to use Maven with our new Subversion SCM. However, I'm having
trouble with the ChangeLog/File Activity/Developer Activity reports. In
the console window, I can see the following:

    [echo] Generating the Change Log...
maven-changelog-plugin:report:
    [echo] Generating the changelog report
SCM Working Directory: C:\workspace\blah
SCM Command Line[0]: svn
SCM Command Line[1]: log
SCM Command Line[2]: -v
SCM Command Line[3]: -r{2005-03-26}:{2005-02-23}
Unable to find svn executable. Changelog will be empty
ChangeLog found: 0 entries

    [echo] Generating the File Activity...
maven-file-activity-plugin:report:
[echo] Generating the file activity report

    [echo] Generating the Developer Activity...
maven-developer-activity-plugin:report:
[echo] Generating the developer activity report

>Unable to find svn executable. Changelog will be empty
Do I have to install Subversion on the build machine before this will work?
If so, is this just temporary until a better solution can be implemented?

Thanks,
   Jamie

yes

yes. We'll probably test tmate JavaSVN out at some point, but it is a
little way down the priority list.
