[DISCUSS] Kill Fulcrum parent POM?

Hi folks, especially Hi Siegfried,

a while ago, I took the freedom to strip down the Fulcrum Parent POM
after deriving in from the mighty Turbine Parent POM. Basically, what is
left is the different assembly plugin configuration. Is this actually
worth maintaining a separate parent POM? Lay it on the line!
