[jira] [Created] (LUCENE-3657) deprecate either
IndexInput.copyBytes or DataOutput.copyBytes
deprecate either IndexInput.copyBytes or DataOutput.copyBytes
-------------------------------------------------------------
Key: LUCENE-3657
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-3657
Project: Lucene - Java
Issue Type: Task
Reporter: Robert Muir
Currently we have:
* IndexInput: public void copyBytes(IndexOutput out, long numBytes)
* DataOutput: public void copyBytes(DataInput input, long numBytes)
I think this is confusing, which one gets used when?!
