Tomcat: subject

Hi, All:

We have been flooded by emails from the mailing lists of CVS, apache,
tomcat, and so on. All of them come into our inbox, it is very tough to
separate them. If you send emails with "Tomcat" in the subject, we could
easily group them and redirect them into a dedicated folder. For example,
Windows user may create a rule in outlook to redirect all emails with Tomcat
in the subject to a folder called Tomcat.

thanks,

Jerry

A simple rule like the following already works for Outlook
for the tomcat user discussion group mailing list.

"Apply this rule after the message arrives
sent to tomcat-user@jakarta.apache.org
move it to the tomcat-user folder"

You can create other rules for your other mailing lists.

Instead of all of us taking the effort, we might ask the list owner to
add '[Tomcat]' to the subject.

On second thought, instead of all getting messages with '[Tomcat]' in
the subject, you might set up filters based in the sender of a message.

As a Tomcat user, you have become part of an Open Source community. That
means that you're ready to give at least part of what you take -- since
money is not the issue here (surprise!), it's effort. If you have a
problem, try to solve it yourself -- and then help others with the same
problem.

Un saludo,

See my attachment the default.psml, this is for
turbine/turbine..

I try to click the home for customization, and if I
try to save it.. the psml is changed.. but this script
is not standard.. look at that..

is it a bug, or.. what???

I am 100% agree this is a problem...

After that, the skin are missing gone.. I don't know
why??? I will find out, and update all of you...

Could you tell me what locations you have apache and tomcat serving, and
then the locations of the files you are trying to serve? We'll see what
we can do.

Hi,

THe reason there is no debugging is because these are 404 errors. Tomcat
is not finding the pages expected. Now assuming that you have the root
context as $TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/ROOT then the first two requests:

> 2001-07-22 09:38:21 - Ctx( ): 404 R( +

> 2001-07-22 09:38:21 - Ctx( ): 404 R( +
> /MSOffice/cltreq.asp + null) null

is looking for the files $TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/ROOT/_vti_bin/owssvr.dll and
$TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/ROOT/MSOffice/cltreq.asp -
which makes me ask the question is this really what you want to do - serve
an asp page with tomcat? AFAIK this is actually possible, but I'm not
sure why you'd do it.

The rest of these are images, and expected in a directory
$TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/cimande/images/spacer.gif and
$TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/cimande/images/blank.gif.

Essentially I think you'll find that those things dont exist in those
places (o:

I just filter on To: or CC: of tomcat-user@jakarta.apache.org. Works

why don't you just setup a filter based on the 'to'
address!
