You can read roller user guide "section 5.3 - Uploading Files"
Once a user uploads a file, it is accessible to a blog post via the
regular way to include an image (URL)

yes, the web ui admin is always available for all.

but for me, the best/easiest way is to use Marsedit  (for macosx),  to 
drag an image to a blog article, then the image will be uploaded to 
roller automatically.

also,  a correct URL link will be generated! BRAVO !  :-D
